This is what we have in mind for a positive EV charging experience! We ventured out to Dedham to see White Bird at the Dedham Community Theatre. Before getting into the EV stuff, you should see the film. It’s a great one and the Dedham Community Theatre is a fantastic place to enjoy it (while also supporting a local, small business).
The parking lost near the theatre has two level 2 chargers which is a convenient option when planning an outing such as dinner and a movie. That evening, we pulled into the parking lot and a charger was available. It took just a few minutes to get plugged in and charging.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner and then saw the movie while getting approximately 4 hours of flawless charging which delivered 25.6252 kWh at a cost of $8.71. That is exactly the type of pleasant and hassle-free charging experience that I hope we can continue to replicate with the installation of more charging infrastructure across the Commonwealth.
As an added bonus to an already amazing evening, Rep. Paul McMurtry even posed in front of his theatre with a very special hat. He is one of the most gracious hosts and offers great films for area residents.
