In searching for some charging in Hingham, we came across several options that are part of the Flo network. In searching for infrastructure there, we were directed to Flo and added the app to my phone (we are now up to 14 different apps for charging networks on the iPhone).
We traced availability along the road trip to Hingham and were pleased to see that a DC fast charger was available when we got there. There wasn’t much range anxiety as we approached because there were four other level 2 chargers close by just in case the fast charger wasn’t free.
Upon pulling up to the charger, we noticed a sign that caught our attention for multiple reasons. Not only did the sign indicate that the space was for electric vehicle charging only, but it warned that parking while not connected is a $50 parking infraction. Congratulations Hingham on taking serious action! The sign also directed us to the HinghamDrivesElectric.org website.

The HinghamDrivesElectric.org site is a great resource for folks looking for information on electric vehicles, rebates and incentives, charging, and even how to find a vehicle. It even offers a blog with so many other resources on EV driving.

The charging experience itself was fantastic. It was simply a matter of opening the app, plugging in, and starting the charge through the app. And the app let me know how long it would take to get to 80 percent. It’s how we’ve always envisioned that EV charging would work.
Again, congratulations Hingham. We looking forward to returning soon.
